Pipes and water lines. Internal areas that involve water, such as bathrooms, kitchens, and some work-related spaces in some industries, are going to be due for a renovation periodically. Have a professional take a good look at all exposed pipes, faucets, and other water features as well as testing the water lines that go to the city’s system to make sure you aren’t experiencing leaks or breaks that aren’t yet apparent. A water line break can be a huge issue and disrupt your business for hours, and sometimes even days, depending on the severity.

Appliances. Your water heater, refrigerator, or freezer can all cause damages by water to your property when they fail. Replacing these items in a timely manner can prevent that, and it will give you the opportunity to choose energy-efficient models, as well, which will save you money while giving back to the earth.
